Chipy Exclusive Interview with Oleg Galushko - CPO at Gamzix

Chipy: Hi, Oleg! Thank you for taking the time to interview with us. Let’s start by learning more about Gamzix and your role within the company.

Oleg: Hi, my name is Oleg Galushko, I’m CPO at Gamzix. I’ve been working in the iGaming industry for 5 years. And now responsible for the work and results of Gamzix’s product team.

Everything that includes games, mechanics, mathematics, promo settings, bugs, technical details, or integrations with partners is my responsibility. And I am happy that I have found myself in this gambling world.

Chipy: That sounds impressive. Can you tell us in what ways Gamzix contributes to the industry?

Oleg: I think that we are now at the stage when we are actively entering the market and starting to show our potential. To tell you the truth, I don’t want to boast.

Gamzix is aimed at facilitating b2b processes. We offer features and tools that do not require the intervention of partners, everything is made on Gamzix’s side. It is worth noting that the variety of these tools is very wide and allows retaining and attracting new players. 

After all, the things that really matter are our results and achievements, so we prefer to talk less and do more. 

Chipy: What makes Gamzix so special? Are there any particular tools or products you would like to emphasize?

Oleg: I think what makes us special, of course, is the product, games with unique mechanics, features through which we can attract a player and conduct various promotional activities.

One of the latest — free spins achievements. Now, players do not need to catch such coveted free spins or buy them. They can simply earn them by completing an interesting task. Personally, I have not seen something like this in other companies. Have you?

Chipy: Does Gamzix make special adjustments to its solutions in certain markets and why?

Oleg: Of course, each market has its characteristics. For example, in Africa and Asian countries, we sell games with a small weight (up to 4 Mb) — since it is difficult with a good Internet connection there.

For Italy and Belarus, we passed certification with special requirements. For many markets, we do our localization so that the players are comfortable playing. I’m proud that our company is agile and faces challenges quickly.

As you can see, each market has a variety of requirements, and we are ready to work for all of them. Because we care about our players, and products and want to show it in every possible way.

Chipy: Where do you see the iGaming industry in 10 years? What are your expectations?

Oleg: According to a study by the American Gaming Association (AGA), the iGaming industry is predicted to reach $90 billion by 2023. And I’m sure that the budget as an interest to the industry will increase and develop.

If we are talking about slots, I see a high development in the technology sector. Game engines will be even lighter, technologically advanced, and unique, which means games will become highly qualified from year to year.

Don't forget about instant-win games — they also have a great future. I am sure that this type of game is at the start and has not yet shown even 20% of its potential.

Chipy: Any plans for the future at Gamzix? Is there maybe a table game in the making, and if not, when can we expect to see one?

Oleg: By the end of the year, we plan to release at least 12 games. It will be slot games with different mechanics: from classic to new ones. And the continuation of the line of our new sensational crash game Pilot, where it will appear in various skins.

And we are preparing something special for the football fans. I’m sure that our new Pilot Cup will be available at the time of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Of course, we’re planning to participate in many great iGaming exhibitions, like SiGMA Europe, ICE London, etc. It is something that always helps us to show our products and team, and learn from the best.

We are also in the process of obtaining MGA and local European markets licenses. And these are just the latest plans. We are sure that 2023 will be a great year in different aspects.

Chipy: Do you have a favorite slot? Which one would you recommend to our players?
