Dr. Linda Graves has dedicated her career to addressing gambling disorders and promoting responsible gambling. As the Executive Director of NAADGS, she manages the organization's day-to-day operations, fiscal responsibilities, and outreach initiatives.
She has been pivotal in expanding the reach of the organization through extensive networking, marketing, and fundraising efforts, providing advocacy and support for those affected by gambling disorders nationwide.
Linda has also served as an Independent Contractor for the California Council on Problem Gambling, where she developed and delivered training webinars and presentations related to gambling disorder and treatment. Her roles have involved managing technical assistance contracts, engaging targeted audiences in dialogue regarding problem gambling, and increasing awareness regarding responsible gaming.
Her experience extends to managing publicly funded problem gambling programs for the State of Washington and acting as the Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Delaware Council on Gambling Problems.
In these roles, she executed contracts with various providers to offer statewide helpline, prevention, and treatment services and managed operational budgets for agencies addressing advocacy, public awareness, research, prevention, and treatment of problem gambling statewide.
Dr. Linda Graves holds a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from California Coast University, where she specialized in psychology with a focus on gambling disorders.
She also earned her Master of Science from the same university and holds a Bachelor of Arts from George Fox College. Linda is an Internationally Certified Gambling Counselor, Level II (ICGC-II), emphasizing her commitment to addressing gambling-related issues.
